It might not make sense.. I put Max down as my public crush and it won't show up on his, so the thing doesn't appear to be working correctly to begin with.

Ah. I Did Not Know That. Worth keeping in mind.

In any case I don't think it should be used as a judge of character anyway, it certainly doesn't mean you're not crush-worthy. (I felt a bit weird about putting some people I don't know very well down as crushes, especially if there was a chance that I might meet them in the future).

Oh, I kind of know that, intellectually... But I am sometimes a needy git, and the idea that no one out of the 79 people who list me as a friend (let alone lurkers) put me in for a crush during a fairly widespread meme was... disconcerting. But then, see my comment above to Ellie.
