I really enjoy Joe Queenan's writing. I wouldn't call myself much of a sports fan, but his "True Believers: The Tragic Inner Life of Sports Fans" is a great read. And I really enjoyed "Confessions of a Cineplex Heckler: Celluloid Tirades and Escapades". "Red Lobster, White Trash, & the Blue Lagoon: Joe Queenan's America" was only so-so in my mind, but didn't regret reading it.
