The Noble Meerkat

davidlevine, kateyule, and iggyspawn. It was at BeWon Korean Restaurant on NW 23rd, and it was pretty yummy.
The next day,akirlu and I went to the Oregon Zoo. Since we're members of the Woodland Park Zoo, admission was free on a reciprocal basis.
The Oregon Zoo is of the "new" style, with environmental enclosures. It's also got a great many sculptures, from whimsical to quite serious.
Of the few pictures I snapped, I like this guy the best. I admire the ad aspera look to him. I also think you can hear him fulminating, "I may only be a meerkat, but I'm noble, damnit! Do you hear me?! Noble!"
