Barack Obama
Aug. 9th, 2007 10:22 amI've written before about Obama's remarkable prescience about the Iraq war. (Go look at the video in that post if you haven't before. Really.)
But that evenheaded analysis was from 2002. What about today?
Courtesy of Josh Marshall again comes a video of Obama speaking yesterday at the Yearly Kos convention. The two things that stood out to me immediately: The call to have his future Attorney General do a review of all Executive Orders for their legality because so much the Bush Administration has done has been beyond legislative review... And the recognition that one of our biggest problems is the sense everyday Americans have of powerlessness in the process, and the role hope can play in changing that.

jrittenhouse points to this video from the Obama Iowa campaign. What if?, indeed.
