Seattle Architecture
Feb. 16th, 2008 07:50 amThis is almost a memo to myself, but I recently heard a show on KUOW that featured someone from the Seattle Architecture Foundation who gives tours of various Art Deco buildings. One of them was the Seattle Tower, which is a great old building, and he talked about the small details -- like how the architect sorted the stone so the lighter stones are on the top, the darker at the bottom, to make it seem taller.
