Almost every newspaper makes a presidential endorsement, sooner or later. Here's one:

"The publishers of (the paper) endorsed Bush four years ago, based on the things he promised, not on this smoke-screened agenda."

"Today, we are endorsing his opponent, John Kerry, based not only on the things that Bush has delivered, but also on the vision of a return to normality that Kerry says our country needs."

So... Where do you think this is from? Some blue-state, big city paper? Heck, the Seattle Times said similar things (and came to the same conclusion) not that long ago.

Well... Um... Let's try The Lone Star Iconoclast, a small paper, in a small Texas town. A small town called...

Crawford.

You know... Where Dubya hangs his hat, when he isn't in public housing.

This is the kind of paper that's so small-c conservative that it proudly features a column on their front web page called "The Capitol Rat" -- "Confidential report from the rat-hole in Austin".

Whether the local high school will TP Bush's place for Homecoming isn't yet known...

TP Bush

'Twould be most amusing if they did. However, the likelihood that the Secret Service would assume that the kids were terrorists or worse could result in deaths. So on the balance, I rather hope they don't try.
