I'm kind of disappointed in the way they're going to prove their point. I mean, it's easy to stack the deck on a google search.

We know that Dave Winer will win the bet. I just wish there was more evidence or numbers that could be talked about with regards to weblogs taking over the role of traditional journalism.....something that can be used even further to help get the word out about the worthiness of news blogs.

I sometimes feel as though I'm reading the same comments over and over again on weblogs. Kinda like when I switch from one evening news program to another...they're all the same. The difference: The blogs aren't entertainment and fluff. They're good news and information and you can go directly to their sources in a lot of cases.

The thing is, when it comes to political news it seems to me as though you either read left wing blogs or right wing blogs and I wonder if that contributes to polarization of political opinions. Or maybe I'm just not knowledgeable enough to find a middle-ground kind of "news blog". Which leads me to: how do I find one? How does a normal person find a quality news blog?
