Still life, fruit and roses

The light yesterday was remarkably bright, crisp, and crunchy. This is my favorite of the 200 or so pics I took while my car was in the shop. (Others to come.)

Orange, juiced
Jan. 21st, 2008 06:49 pmAs I was pulling apart an orange for a snack, I saw the tiny drop of juice. A little bit of patience, and I got this image in the golden light of the afternoon.
Sarah on the couch
Jan. 21st, 2008 06:46 pmIt was a clear day today in Kent, albeit cold. The sun was doing interesting things at an angle. Here we see Sarah lying in the sun, in a way she rarely got to do in our apartment in Redmond, because the sunlight just didn't make it in there.

Sarah in the sun, RadCon

Sarah very much enjoyed being able to laze about in the sun up at RadCon in Pasco. Our apartment faces north, so any of the places Sarah is likely to lie down is unlikely to have much sun.
She seemed very cat-like. Given she's always lived with a cat in residence, that isn't too surprising. (It's always fun to see her paw gently at something, in a feline way.)
