I've been updating my user profile page with various bits of wisdom from here and there. Not having called attention to it, you may not have noticed. So, um, take a look, if that suits your fancy. :)
My local library has just acquired Sports Night on DVD. I looke forward to introducing my housemate to them--he still likes The West Wing (oh well, can't be helped) and is a big on the local football teams.
Of course, I was glad to see that your interests include women in general and woman in particular--seeing as how you list more than twice as many men as women.
You did know about the forthcoming Kate Bush album, right?

I almost always perfer to show rather than tell this sort of thing... But, yes, I generally hang out with women when I can. :) And I do mean, just plain hang out. I greatly prefer their company. {shrug}
Re: Billy Connolly -- funny thing, but just a day or two ago, I picked up Pamela Stephenson's bio, Billy. Seems like a lot of fun, even if it is playing Boswell to her own husband. OTOH, I don't get the sense Billy would sit down in one place long enough to do a book of his own...
Re: Kate -- I take a very empiricist view about Kate's albums: I believe in them when I see them. :) nomi, who's in the UK, had reported earlier there was supposed to be a Kate Bush album this year, but until it actually shows up...
Re: Sorkin -- If no Democrat has ever tried to hire him as a speechwriter, I don't understand it. He's clearly a true believer, and given the success he's had over the years, can obviously write in a way that connects with people.
