So I was at Fred Meyer, thinking about how I'd like to get a new DVD or two. This often happens when I'm at Freddy's.

I noticed they had a coupon for $3 off DVDs above a certain price. Being a cheap bastard, I took advantage to buy both Syriana and Good Night And Good Luck for $12 each. These are probably two of the most patriotic movies of the last few years, and Good Night wuz robbed at the Oscars.

God bless George Clooney.

While I was watching it, I was fiddling with my new camera, and realized, "Hey... I wonder how the black-and-white works on this thing?"

I think it does OK.
