Piz Palü panorama

Very interesting to see, especially for the cinematography of the mountain. Wanting to see what it looks like today (since I was suspicious it wasn't as snowy these days), I went first to the Wikipedia entry for Piz Palü, which pointed to this page for Piz Palü at SummitPost.

If you look at the "Sunset" pictures there, you'll see a trio of images. Because they were labelled east, west, and central, I thought they might be a potential panorama. So I pulled up Autostitch, and... Voila!

Very cool! One of the commenters (a German) at the IMDb entry points out some of the ways they cheated in filming the ascent of the mountain. E.g.: "The film's location is the Piz Palu north face. Yet, many scenes have been taken in the Piz Morteratsch south east face."
