Charlie Stross has a great link, and an analysis to go with it. The link is the Indo-Pakistani DEADPOOL. (representative quote: "What do you get when you mix nuclear weapons and religious fanaticism? Two great tastes that taste great together!") The analysis basically is, "Well, how did you expect bored Westerners to react?"

The entry form, with its mushroom cloud background, is particularly cute. OTOH, they ask one to enter one's "Magic Date" -- Hey, just run the game, pal, and leave my sex life out of it! :)

Lance Knobel, who I first came across because he collaborated with Dave Winer on a "Davos for Newbies" site, has an interesting link.

It seems Jon Snow, the anchor for Channel 4 TV news in the UK, has a mailing list you can subscribe to where he previews the stories the broadcast will be covering.

This is interesting to me because it gives a quick digest on what the UK press consider important. It shouldn't be used exclusively, of course, but it's still an interesting window for relatively little effort.
