This strikes me as a mix of 1950's gosh-wow-oh-boy sf fandom (think of the "cosmic mind"), and Shatner of Star Trek classic.

"My God! Spock! Have I remembered... everything?! I didn't know I knew everything to be able to forget some of it!"

(do the shatner twitch. it's taking the rage by country.)

"Fascinating, Captain. But your premise is illogical -- I'm the one who remembers everything. Fortunately, I have forgotten that bar in Newark where I was locked up during my last plak tow cycle..."
