Today was my first day at a new contract.
It's only for three weeks, but they're dangling out the temp-to-perm conversion at the end of that time. Having done that at Gallo Wine, that seems reasonable to me.
It mostly involves desktop support, and I was doing desktop support-y type things today.
It's a relatively easy commute. The on-campus cafeteria is run by the same company that does MSFT, and so was familiar, if a bit scattered in layout.
The boss seems cool, the team that's been assembled almost literally overnight (I was called at 3PM yesterday to start at 7:45AM today) seems very cool also.
So... Yay me.
Now to bed.
