Over the summer, I heard A Prairie Home Companion broadcast a lovely tune by these two guys -- "Johnny's Tune," by Phil Cunningham and Aly Bain. (They have a joint web site, too.)
It's a slow air, violin and accordion. Johnny Cunningham was Phil's brother.
Anyway, the song has never been commercially released, as far as I can tell. So I used Audacity to capture it off my sound chip, and then edited it to just the tune, and not the enjoyable yakking by Garrison Keillor and the lads (you can listen to that using Real Player on the link above). Many caveats apply -- this is a third generation or so copy, at streaming bit rates, so don't expect brilliant fidelity, more a hint of what the song should sound like.
