OK, so Barack Obama is speaking at Key Arena tomorrow (details below). I get off my graveyard shift at 8am, and doors open at 11am. That means I have time for breakfast before getting in what I assume will be the huge line. (I'm also expecting Obama no earlier than noon, but hey.)

Sooo... I know opinions differ, but the Mecca Cafe is a lot closer to the venue than CJ's, and those are about the only two places I can think of for breaksfasty-type things.

Anybody care to meet me there?

Please join Barack Obama at a 'Stand for Change' Rally at Key Arena, where he'll talk about his vision for bringing America together and bringing about the kind of change we can believe in.

I'm sorely tempted especially now my morning meeting is canceled but it's probably not right to actually take the place of a voter. Mecca is a good call for breakfast though.

Well, I'll be at Mecca about 8:15, 8:30. I wouldn't mind having someone to talk to during the long wait, but that's OK. And I figure the BBC's attitude of covering the hell out of our election because we have so much impact on the rest of the world, is a valid one. I don't think they'll ask for your passport at the door.

I'm feeling a little frazzled just now to write up a trip report. Especially since I have some business writing this shift still to do. But my photo set is here.
