After being gently reminded by seeing a photo of a cat from Lucy Huntzinger's trip to Japan in 1996...

Something that I noticed in Sweden: Cats ignore you in any language. Yet, strangely, cultures around the world persist in naming the little aliens.

I like them. I just realize that the relationship between cats and h. sap. is one of detente, at best.

It's not always obvious that I'm semi-active in sf fandom (whoops, there went katie...), but yes.

Lucy and I have met at a few Corflus. Ulrika's a former TAFF delegate, Lucy a former DUFF delegate, so sometimes they get put on the same fan fund panels at cons. Ulrika's been reading her journal much longer than I, it's just that I was catching up with that kind of, "I should be reading that..." pages lately.

I sometimes say there's only about 12 people on the Net, really. At times, I can prove it. :)
