Feb. 5th, 2001 03:40 pmWent home to lunch, to find Sarah, our puppy, had gone and scuffed herself up. She'd apparently oozed little turdlets, and not wanting to be in the crate with them, shoved her muzzle against the metal bars of the crate, abrading herself like mad.
It reminds me so much of the self-mutilation of low-esteem women that it makes me wants to cry. When this happened even worse on Friday, I did.
But today was better.
The real question is, is this a digestive problem, or a sign of agitation and anxiety on her part, or what?
Anyway, after wiping off her butt with a warm washcloth, I carted her off in the car back here to work. There's a building that fronts our parking lot in a way for plenty of shade -- at least for now. Later in the year, though...
