So I'm on a panel for Potlatch.

Here's the reading list I'm going to be handing out, regarding sustainable architecture and design. This is all a spin-off of John Brunner's semi-utopian community Precipice, in his novel The Shockwave Rider, which is the Book of Honor for the convention.

I guess this also means that if you're interested in such things, you may want to consider attending the convention, which is coming up on 27-29 Feb. [livejournal.com profile] akirlu is ruuning programming, and [livejournal.com profile] pecunium will be on a different panel regarding secrecy vs. transparency.

(By the way, that biblio page was autogenerated by Excel 2003 -- so if you have any problems with it, let me know. It looks fine in both IE 6 and Mozilla Firefox 0.8 on my machine, but I'm curious.)

I know what you mean. It really isn't intended to be read before the con, or anything...

My basic idea is, if someone really wants to start looking at this topic... well, it's a big topic. These are some signposts.

I mean, c'mon... It ain't Fadiman's Lifetime Reading Plan.
