Tonight.

"What do you think of skee ball?" said cityzephyr.

"I think I could go for that," said I.

So tonight we were supposed to do some skee ball.

Except.

Except we went to the "Fun Forest", the arcade part of Seattle Center, and it was closed. So we hopped on the monorail, which was useful for a change, and went to GameWorks... to find it had been rented out for a private party.

Um.

So Amanda said, "How about a movie?"

And we went and saw Mean Girls. Which, while it's a high school comedy, and it did make Amanda feel, "about as slightly dirty as I thought it would when we went in," was actually all right.

We took the monorail back to her place, and chatted in the lobby... About public policy, and politics, and Malcolm Gladwell, and Nassim Nicholas Taleb... Before she had to go upstairs to take a phone call, and I had to skeddaddle home.

But mostly, a cool night.

billzilla and I faintly feel a vacation is incomplete without some skee ball. We even found some in Las Vegas.
