libertangoWe went to Mashiko tonight.
Hajime did his usual jazz-like improv sushi. The two you'll-never-see-this-anywhere-else dishes tonight:
* Octopus, in a cucumber salad, with peppercorns.
* Slightly seared squid, with avocado and masago, wrapped in a thinly sliced cucumber (rather than seaweed).
Yum.

On the other hand, I was tending the new mule, and hauling hay.
But Mashiko, and the sound, and jerky from the deli, all sound grand.
