Here are three folks who each have a substantial presence on YouTube, showing their love of their respective genres:
Paul Potts (Not YouTube specific per se, but probably the way most Americans who have heard him are familiar with him. A cell phone salesman from Cardiff who's always wanted to sing opera, and gets his chance. Imagine Harry Chapin's "Mister Tanner" with a happy ending.)
Ronald Jenkees (Imagine Buddy Holly's Kentucky cousin doing modern beats, traipsing up and down a keyboard)
Ysabella Brave (Part Nelson Riddle-accompanied Linda Ronstadt; Part Little Voice; Part Tracey Ullman; Part a performer genuinely out of her own time)
