Paul Potts (Not YouTube specific per se, but probably the way most Americans who have heard him are familiar with him. A cell phone salesman from Cardiff who's always wanted to sing opera, and gets his chance. Imagine Harry Chapin's "Mister Tanner" with a happy ending.)
