(I read his Minister of Typography post a week or more ago, so instantly recognized where the idea for the poster came from. And I could tell at first glance that John had nothing to do with the type or layout. None of that stopped me from being amused.)
From the link: "Apologies for the hurried (dreadful) PhotoShop job. Send me a better one, if you can. Who would you vote for?"
I do hope one or more people take them up on their request for a better one. I really wanna see one where the signs in the background say "Type We Can Believe In"...in the same style as the change signs.
Or a simple, elegant sign that said:
"Type Hope
John D. Berry America's First Minister of Typography"
In the Obama blues with the logo, of course.
It's a good thing my Photoshop skills aren't up to it. But John has lots of friends and design colleagues whose are....
