...that it's 2004, and we still don't have a name for this demented decade?

The Naughties? The Oughts? The Zeroes? The Ohs? The Single Digits?

What will we disdainfully refer to this decade as in our dotage?

Everyone I know in Britain says "The Naughties/Noughties" (maybe because naught/nought is still used often here, particularly in the north), but I am mystified as to what we'll call anything past 2010.

"The Last Years Before the Crash/Fall/America Died" is how I've felt about this decade so far.
