I hope this doesn't make you gag, but I talk German to Skippy (Jane's cat) sometimes. When he flops on the carpet for some scritching, I say "Katzen auf der carpetgefloppen." (The 'o' in carpetgefloppen should have an umlaut.) And when I pet him at the base of the tale, and he does the kitty elevator thing, I say "Katzen der buttzengeheiken."

So much for German.
